Y3 Marine PTY LTD is owned and operated by Andre Vorster. With almost two decades of experience as an Engineer in the Superyacht industry, he holds a MCA Y3 Chief Engineer 500GT license, is a Qualified Plumber and serves as the engineer onboard Sydney to Hobart winner, Comanche. Many years of cruising and refitting Superyachts in Europe, Caribbean and USA has resulted in a wealth of industry knowledge. This extensive experience operating, servicing & upgrading systems onboard Superyachts gives Y3 Marine the edge, providing professional service to maintain, repair and install systems onboard any size or type of yacht.

Fuel & Oil Systems

Fuel & Oil is the life blood of a yacht, but contaminates could put a stop to your day on the water. It’s as simple as bunkering bad fuel or condensation build up in the tanks. We can help by offer filtration and polishing solutions.

Sea Water & Ballast Systems

Salt Water is both friend and foe, requiring attentive maintenance to keep systems running smoothly. Barnacles, Mussels & Coral foul up cooling systems, which is why we offers an annual chemical flush to keep things free flowing.

Ventilation Systems

A well ventilated technical space is necessary for efficient engine performance and critical to safety onboard. Salt air has a habit of corroding fans & fire dampers, which is why we help ensure positive pressure is maintained

Fresh Water Systems

We understand that safe drinking water is paramount to life onboard. By performing an annual superchlorination, we can eradicate any Legionella bacteria that may be present in tanks & pipes. We’ll also ensure your Watermaker is maintained

Exhaust Systems
